Windows 10 is filled with bugs that still haven't been fixed. Thank you for your help. Attempted to reinstall Win7 home Premium 64 bit on. The only reason Windows 10 is really growing is that it comes on most new computers today, and most people don't bother removing it and putting something else on. I'm sure working with Intel and their new chip designs wouldn't take that much to make them work with 7 and 8. Originally, I wanted to use my existing hardware atx or mini-atx motherboard and my sandybridge i5 , but could find nothing to go with that case fits 8 x 3.
Newer systems kaby lake, coffee lake will not receive drivers for win7 nor will they get windows updates. It is a clean install. Tell us in the comments section! It really isn't all that bad, plus Windows 10 will be supported with security patches longer than Windows 7 will be, which is always welcome news. Add the amount of data it sends back to Microsoft, and there is little question about why so many people are not happy with it. Regardless of what any of us think, it's Microsoft's product.
Let us know if that worked! The company announced the support change in January 2017. There is an agreement in place. Windows 10 has been working for over a year in our offices so I am not sure what the hold up is unless is software and licensing. After contacting the Intel support about the matter directly, they only told me that the wifi card was compatible with Windows 8 but not with 8. I am abhorred that they would do this, this is just another bad decision in a string of bad decisions that all started with Windows 10.

And it may be true that this action is within the scope of the agreement. When you say the Hard Drive came from another Windows 7 computer, did you do a fresh install of Windows 7, or are you using it without a fresh install. Well you are not in compliance. Are the old ones not fast enough? They were just terrible, till Microsoft realized they needed something better and finally followed with Windows 7. I, myself, have a couple of things that I am unable leave Windows because of, and those crash in Windows 10 every time I try to run them, even though they are the current version of the software! Most of us buy again and again, throw what we have though 100% functional and suitable for our needs, just to be in the lot.
